MEA Employee Assistance Programs

Do you have an employee whose personal problems interfere with work? Do you suspect drug or alcohol abuse by an employee? Is Human Resources tied up helping an employee deal with a complex family problem? An MEA Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help you with these problems.

Here are some of the excellent features that an MEA EAP provides for you and your employees:

There is twenty-four hour, seven days a week, toll-free access to a Master's level counselor. This includes multi-lingual capabilities.

The services include assessment and referral for psychological, emotional, family relationship, stress, alcohol and drug abuse. There are also special crisis management services for employee groups affected by accidents, deaths, etc.

Short-term counseling is available, as well as case management and follow up on all cases.

When requested, the EAP can conduct management consultations to coach your managers in handling employees whose personal problems are affecting productivity and the work environment.

Your EAP services are integrated with your company's policies, procedures, and the rest of your benefit plan in order to coordinate processes and keep your utilization costs to a minimum.

The EAP services are provided by Care Plus Solutions, an experienced, licensed professional group who has over 30 years in the field and is the oldest provider of EAP's in the country. It maintains a nationwide network of highly qualified professionals with both clinical expertise and business experience. Unlike many other EAP providers, Care Plus Solutions is not a subsidiary of a mental health or health insurance provider using an EAP to "direct" business to its own primary services. EAPs are Care Plus Solutions' core business. Because of this, Care Plus Solutions can and will direct your employees to the most appropriate and the best resources needed.
